Some of the companies recommended on this site pay a commission when you book through our link. Here is exactly how that works and what it does not affect.
The short version. When this site points you to a truck rental, a storage marketplace, a moving-labor service or an internet provider, that link may earn PCS Copilot a commission if you end up booking. You pay the same price either way. The company pays out of their marketing budget, not your wallet.
It never touches your numbers. Your entitlement estimates, your timeline, and your checklist are calculated from the Joint Travel Regulations and your own move details. No partner pays to appear in your playbook, no partner influences a DLA, MALT, per diem, TLE or PPM figure, and no recommendation is ever inserted in place of guidance you actually need. If a recommendation and your entitlement ever appear to conflict, the entitlement is what matters. See the methodology page for how the math is done.
The bar for recommending anyone. A company only gets a slot if it would get one with no commission attached. Several programs that pay well were left out because the fit was weak or the service was not good enough. At least one program is deliberately on hold until the reviews have been read properly, because it involves shipping pets.
Your information stays yours. These are plain outbound links. Clicking one does not hand over your name, email, address, orders, rank or move details. This site does not run quote forms on behalf of moving companies and does not sell or share leads with anyone. That is a commitment in the privacy policy, not just a preference.
Sponsored placements. If a page ever carries a paid placement from a local business, it is labeled "Sponsored" in plain sight. Paid placements are flat advertising fees. No one is ever paid a fee tied to a closing, a referral, or a settlement service.
Tell us if we get it wrong. If a company recommended here treated you badly, email roger@pcscopilot.com. A commission is not worth sending someone in this community to a company that will burn them, and a partner that generates complaints gets dropped.
